Road The Novel is a German pop duo from the Ruhr area. The duo consists of the composer and producer, Sebastian Werrmeyer, and the singer and songwriter, Anna Hucke. In 2013 they initiated a project named Road the Novel. They are writing and producing their own music. The lyrics are in English, and the beats are influenced by electronic music mostly. They released their first EP on Cinematic Prime Records which is called BLUE EP including three tracks. “Read The Signs”, “Flying High”, and “Inside Out”. Currently, they are busy writing new songs for their debut album.
About Anna Hucke: Anna was born on 12th of February in 1993. She has been writing songs since she can remember. Already in early years she was encouraged by her parents to follow her path by sending her to singing lessons. Throughout her high school years she performed at small events, participated in a choir or played gigs in youth clubs with her former rock band “Rising Tides”. After she achieved her A-levels in 2012, she decided to concentrate even more on music. Therefore, she is attending the German pop academy in Cologne to study the theory of music. In 2013 she met Sebastian in a computer store and the story of “Road The Novel” began…
About Sebastian Werrmeyer: Sebastian, born May 7th, started his musical career at the age of 9 when his mother taught him how to play the piano. After years of playing music in different school bands Sebastian composed and arranged songs for musical- and theater productions at his school. After his A-level exam in 2007 he started studying film music-composing in the Netherlands. In 2013 he met Anna in a computer store and the story of “Road The Novel” began…
